Certificate of INNO FUND to ACRO Innovation Project
ACRO achieved fund support from China INNO FUND for starch waste treatment in 2009.
The topic of research is: The waste recovery of starch industry base on polymer technology
Main purpose are:
1. Efficiently separating protein from waste water, after dehydrating and drying, the added portion and value of commercial protein could be widely applied feed industry. In addition, most of clarified waster could be recycled to processing line, so that decrease the investment in waste water treatment.
2. With the assistance of polymer, to filter water from wet cake with 15% more than traditional press method, fiber drying cost will be visibly decreased, therefore the waste fiber from starch plant could be applied in feed industry as a cheap raw material.
The basic research was supported by professor Aicardo Roa-Espinosa from Wisconsin USA, ACRO innovation team developed processing technology and main machinery. 03 starch companies (Huili, Mincheng and Fengtai ) participated in one year testing work.
Until Dec of 2010, the middle test running report shown that all technical figures have reached to designed standard.
This new technology will be integrated to some of starch project designed by ACRO.
