In September 2005, Quang Tri starch factory purchased a set of GK1250 Scraper Centrifuge from SCIC China. This is a kind of advanced automatic dewatering machine.

The installation and testing before use of this machine was finished in November 18,2005. Until the end of this fresh cassava-gathering season (May 2006), it shows that the capacity of this machine can reach to 3MT finished products per hour, almost no need maintaining. The moisture content of outlet wet starch can stabilized in 38%.

 “Before we have to use four old type of manual scraper centrifuge, it was really difficult to operate. Now dewatering operators never use old type machines since GK1250 started working, one GK1250 is enough”, the vice director of the starch factory, Mr. Ho Xuan Hieu said.
